St Patrick’s Day Treat – A Rainbow of Fruit and Other Sweet Ideas

RainbowOfFruit

St. Patrick’s Day is normally not a big deal in our house. I do manage to wear some green and make sure the kids wear green every March 17. But I’ve never decorated for the occasion. I’ve never cooked or baked anything special. Also, the leprechaun has never visited our home.

This year I wanted to come up with a simple treat related to this green holiday. I also wanted something sweet but healthy. Everyone in my family loves fruit. Just about any fruit. So, why now a rainbow of fruit.

I plan to serve this with breakfast on St. Patrick’s Day. The rainbow of fruit will consist of strawberries, oranges, pineapples, green grapes, blueberries, and red grapes. My kiddos call them purple grapes. I know I can’t go wrong with making this sweet treat.
