Creative Storage Ideas – 10 Ways to Use a Shoe Organizer (other than for shoes)


Are you using a shoe organizer to organize things besides your shoes?! There are so many things a shoe organizer can store. I recently placed one in my laundry/mudroom closet to help control all our gloves, hats and scarves. I place the kids outdoor accessories at the bottom so they could reach it and the higher slots are for the grown ups.

  2. I’m a high school math teacher and I use shoe organizers to store my graphing calculators. I number each pocket and number each calculator to match – I can easily tell at a glance if there are any calculators missing. It also helps that the kids can just grab theirs from their pocket rather than having to dig through a bag or box.

  5. I put one on the inside of my bathroom to store extra toothbrushes, razors, hair accesories, small items that would go in the bathroom. lets me know when I need to stock up. Also have one in my pantry for smaller items that I cant put on the shelf without losing them.
