I noticed my Ruffly Paper Wreath is one of my most viewed posts this week. Perhaps it’s because people are looking for Christmas wreath ideas. Well, I created a new wreath that’s fun, cute and specifically for Christmas. I like to call it a Rolled Paper Christmas Wreath.
This wreath is similar to my Ruffly Paper Wreath because it’s made using the same kind of wreath form, ribbon and a glue gun. It is also made out of paper. The big difference is the paper is cut into rectangles that are rolled.
The materials I used for this project were a 9 inch wreath form, white ribbon, Christmas themed scrapbook paper, straight edge cutter, pencil, glue stick and a hot glue gun. Wreath form is from my local dollar store. I bought the scrapbook paper at Michaels (This is the same paper used for my Christmas Scrabble Art project).

I first wrapped ribbon around the wreath form using a hot glue gun to secure it at the beginning and end points.
I cut several rectangles 2 inches by 3 inches in size. I then rolled and glued each using a glue stick. I’m not sure of the exact number of rolled rectangles I made and used for the wreath. I would estimate about 72.
I glued the rolled papers onto the wreath using a hot glue gun. I also started gluing the rolled papers on top of each other so there would be no empty spaces. Be sure to check the wreath often to make sure you’re placing things evenly. Please note…this part requires lots of patience but it can be done with great results.
I hung the wreath over my mantle in front of a mirror window. The finishing touch was tying a red bow at the top.
My Rolled Paper Christmas Wreath is complete. It looks wonderful with the rest of my home’s holiday décor.
