DIY: Paper Easter Bunny, Chick, Carrot Cones

Here’s an adorable Easter craft project to put together. I’ve made some cute Easter and Bunny projects in the past and this one is no exception. Create a Bunny, Chick and/or Carrot Cones made out of paper.

Display them as decorations. Use them to hold Easter treats. Make them with kids.

Whatever you decide…it’s easy to create.

The materials to make these Easter cones are scrapbook paper, googly eyes, cotton balls, scissors, glue stick, hole puncher, ribbon and a cone template.

Trace and cut out a cone template. (Find our cone template at the end of this post).

Trace cone template onto paper. I used scrapbook paper. Cut out the template. Form a cone shape with it and secure with glue. Note: The pink paper I used for the bunny was a thick cardstock. I had to press and hold the glued area until it was secure. The thinner the paper the easier and quicker it will secure using a glue stick.

Bunny: I used pink paper. Decorate the bunny using googly eyes, cotton ball for nose and cut out white strips for whiskers. Cut out bunny ears and glue to back side of cone.

Chick: I used a patterned yellow paper. Decorate chick using googly eyes and cut out an orange beak.

Carrot: I used a patterned orange paper. Cut out a green stem and glue to back side of cone.

I attached ribbon to the cones. I also filled the cones with matching colored grass.

Sweet and simple.
