The materials I used to make this DIY Pumpkin Shaped Berry Wreath are wired berry stems, brown string, wire cutters and scissors.
I purchased the berry stems at Michaels when they were on sale for 50% off. I used 3 berry stems. It is important the berry stems are wire based. This is so you could shape and bend them.
I sized my wreath so it could be displayed within a 11×14 frame.
The first step I did was shape a stem into semi circle. I did this for two of the berry stems.
I place my two semi circle shaped berry stems together to form a pumpkin shape outline. I tied them together using string. I cut off the ends of the stems.
I also tied string onto other spots along the wreath so no loose pieces would hang.
I took the long end piece of another berry stem and bent it until it looked like a pumpkin stem. I attached it with string to the top middle of my wreath.
I also cut off single pieces of a berry stem to create a couple of indented ridges running from top to bottom. I attached those with string.
And that’s it. That’s how I made a cute little pumpkin shaped berry wreath.
I am happy with my pumpkin wreath. It looks gorgeous.
