I have a secret I’ve been wanting to share. Until this post, only a few people know.
Today, we have a special countdown set to “1 Day.” No, it’s not this Christmas Countdown Printable but our Disney Vacation Countdown. Shhh…the kids have no idea we’re going to Disney World. It’s a super secret surprise trip.
They’ve seen my new Christmas Countdown Printable and said to display it instead of the Disney Vacation Countdown since Christmas comes before our next Disney vacation (which they think is in the summer). Hehe…see they don’t know.
We’ll be in Disney World tomorrow. I think it’s safe to post this today unless 1) my kids get access to the internet at school , 2) decide to show off my blog to their teachers and friends and 3) read this post. Chances of all that happening are low.
The big surprise will be revealed when the kids get home from school. The Disney Vacation Countdown displaying “1 Day” will be one of the clues as they walk in our door.
Anyways, I decided to make this simple Christmas Countdown Printable because of a dear reader. She made a comment in the Disney Countdown post stating she wanted to make something similar for Christmas.
Personally, I don’t think we really need a third countdown. To be honest, I made this printable countdown more for YOU…maybe you don’t have a Christmas countdown OR an advent calendar OR you don’t want/have time to make one yourself OR you don’t want to spend the money to buy one. Maybe you want something simple.
If you have a an 8×10 frame with glass, a printer, paper, scissors and a dry erase marker, then this Christmas Countdown printable is for you. Just print and frame it. That’s it – easy.
Download our Christmas Countdown printable HERE.
This printable is meant to fit in an 8×10 frame.
TIPS: I recommend printing it on white card stock paper. I also recommend checking your printer settings. My printer’s “Print Quality” setting is normally on “Standard” but I changed the “Print Quality” to “High.”
After printing, you’ll need to cut around the red frame of the Christmas Countdown printable to make it an 8×10 picture.
IMPORTANT: Make sure your frame has a glass top. The glass is where you write the numbers. It’s also why you’re able to erase and change the days with a dry erase marker. We use a slightly damp napkin to erase the numbers.
Does your family like to countdown the days until Christmas?
Happy printing and counting down!
