Here’s a homemade Valentine’s Day project with a personal touch – a Handprint I Love You This Much Card. This is a sweet card your kids can make and give to a loved one such as a grandparent.
To make this card, all you need are paper, scissors, pencil, glue and a marker. I also used a heart puncher.
First trace both your child’s hands on a piece of paper. Cut out the traced hands.
Cut a strip of paper. I used one that was about 1 inch wide and 12 inches longs. Fold this paper accordion style.
Glue each end to one hand.
We used a heart puncher to cut out a heart. We glued the heart to the front of hand. My daughter then wrote I and You.
Open up the card to stretch out the accordion style strip and write “THIS MUCH.”
Now, it’s time for your kids to customize the card with other words and decorations.
How cute is this Handprint I LOVE You This Much Card?!
